Lessons
At Alpine Boarding Stables, we offer riding lessons and pony rides tailored to all skill levels. Each of our rides is designed to teach you more than just how to ride — we guide you through the entire experience. During your session, you’ll learn how to properly gather the horse, groom, and tack them up, ensuring a comprehensive and hands-on approach to horsemanship. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills, our lessons provide a well-rounded experience that helps you connect with the horses and gain confidence in your abilities.

Therapeutic Pony Rides
Do you have a child who could benefit from therapeutic riding? At Alpine Boarding Stables, we offer a supportive and safe environment for children to experience the healing power of horseback riding. We begin with our gentle and friendly pony, Sugar Foot, ensuring a comfortable introduction to the process. For children weighing over 80 lbs., we transition to one of our larger horses, providing a tailored experience that meets your child's specific needs. Our therapeutic riding sessions are designed to help improve confidence, balance, and coordination, while also offering emotional and physical benefits in a relaxed, caring setting.
Our Trainers
Shayna Shaw
A 3rd generation horse person, Shayna’s first love was horses. She became a professional trainer at the age of 19 and has always had a real passion for guiding a horse, and its rider to achieving whatever goals they have set out to accomplish. Whether you are 3 or 80, a first time rider or an experienced equestrian, you can always keep learning!
